2010 Pac-10 Tourney Champs!

Game Overton. Venoy’s free throws with 2 seconds left iced the 79-75 win over Cal for UW’s first Pac-10 Tournament Championship since 2005.

IT’s impromptu scorers table tap dance highlighted the win.
The up-tempo, back-and-forth game was easily the most entertaining of the tourney and showed that the Pac-10’s two best teams can make a strong run in the NCAA Tournament.
Coach Romar’s theft arraignment is scheduled for later this month in Los Angeles.
Quincy Pondexter outplayed Cal’s Jerome Randle and showed again that he is the true Pac-10 Player of the Year.
Q-Pon scored 18 points while Randle struggled with foul trouble, shot 3/11 from the field, and had 3 turnovers. Plus he looked like a 14 year-old on speed while doing it.

Even the Huskies equipment manager got some love:

Let me help you out: he’s the white guy.

The Huskies are now 24-9 with a 14-7 record in the Pac-10. There is a realistic chance that UW could pick up a 9 seed and play in Spokane. Keep your fingers crossed…
